F-45 Engine

David asks:

“Does any company make a F-45 engine? I have one in HO DC, and like to get one for DCC.”

    modeltrainstuff.com Has F 45 diesel DCC. Athearn

  • Ron H Hebbsays:

Athearn Genesis produces the F-45 in a variety of road names in HO, both in standard DC with a DCC quick plug, and DCC with sound installed. They can be obtained online through most online hobby retailers. They are current Athearn models, so it’s a good bet your local hobby shop will have some in stock, or could order one for you.
