The Anthracite Model Railroad Society layout depects the Anthracite area of NE Pa serviced by the Lehigh Valley, Reading, Jersey Central and Lehigh New England Railroads. We have open house during the holiday season Thanksgiving to after New year.
The Anthracite Model Railroad Society has a two tier layout with the towns of Jim Thorpw, Hazleton,and Ekley’s modeled. There are two coal mines and historical structures. The Anthracite Model Railroad Society is open to all interested in model railroading.
