Nm. Uses z-gauge track, represents metre-gauge in 1:160, although it should be close enough for 3′ gauge.

Kind of a confusing question. Are you asking if N scale track can be used for HOn30? If so, the answer is yes, N scale standard gauge track at 9mm gauge is used for HOn30.
If you are asking for Nn30, there really isn’t such a beast. Nn3 uses Z scale track (6.5mm) to represent narrow gauge. Z scale track measures out to 42 N scale inches, a bit broad for most narrow gauge but the ability to use manufactured chassis for your locomotives instead of trying to build your own is a trade-off that most of us Nn3’ers are willing to live with.
There is now another commercially available scale called T, it has 3mm track which in N scale would be not quite 19 inches. It would represent 2 foot gauge pretty well in Z.
