Oil Lubrication For Trains

Mike wants guidance from others in the hobby on lubricating trains.

“I am somewhat new to this. What parts of the engine need oil/grease? Do the cars need oil/grease? Is there a diagram I can use as a guide? Thanks.”

Mike, for engine, anywhere motor shaft goes thru a bearing, or universal joint, simply anywhere something moves, thru something else including axel points in the trucks. Use white lithium greese on what you can, and plastic compatable oil on anything in/on/or thru plastic, (labelle 108 oil.Use a toothpick with greese, go light on the oil, a little goes a long way….Have at it Herb Sr
