Marklin HO Analog Wiring

John asks readers for help:

“With isolating parts of the track, as to run multiple trains operations what would be the best way to do this? I am new to marklin and I bought a heap of marklin and some was given to me. I am probably looking to run 8 engines a room 4.9 by 4.4 meters. I am trying to run 8 engines continuously and haven’t got a plan yet, so would like some ideas. Thanks heaps for your help.”

    Hi–
    I.ve been operating Marklin AC
for years. As it is 3rail or 2
rails & center studs, the best way to insulate depends on the track type. If you are using K-Track you will need Marklin part # 7522. A package of 5 is around $3.00. If you are using M or C track a piece of paper placed on the center contact to insulate from the opposing track will work. It is best to insulate from the 3rd rail with AC.
    Thanks CJB

HELP! I can’t remember how to connect the M switches via the controller box. Or how to power them from transformer. Brain fart! But from 50 years ago.
