HO/OO | DCC Wiring

Rick wants some simple to understand help and asks:

“I am just starting a freelance layout and I would like to find some wiring info from anywhere. I looked on the net but they spoke in language that I don’t understand yet. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.”

    Hi Rick. I’m fairly new to DCC myself, so take this with a grain of salt. First of all, I would recommend purchasing a new (not used) DCC starter set, an example of which would be the NCE Power Cab starter set. I mention that particular set because that’s the one I got. Very straight forward manual. Also, I would get a good book that’s dedicated to DCC. It wouldn’t hurt to get close to some people who are members of a local model RR club. You may also want to check out clubs who model the same scale as yourself. I hope this is helpful. Don’t give up.
