in my volunteer work as as a trail maintinence man on a 400 acre natural island i come across lots of lichen in the fall which I collect for scenery use on my N gauge train platform. My question is how do I keep it from drying out and becoming brittle and how do I color it to meet my scenic needs. thankyou don reinhardt
