I have a problem that you maybe able to help me out with. I have a N scale layout 3' by 6' feet and my kato sd40 can only pull three cars up the inclinde of 2". Now I bought the cheap cars which are lighier and the loco pulls them fine, it has trouble with the expensive cars. I have checked the gauge on the track, I have lots of power in the track because the loco spins have way up the curve incline. The track is clean. I am out of ideas. Even with two locos I have to crank the speed to full to get it go up the incline. Any ideas.
