					<description><![CDATA[Robert,&lt;br /&gt;I too have Challenger by bowser that I have recently aquired that I am wanting to convert.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I fear mine is of the original 1948 run that had super motor that uses frame as part of power pick up.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There is a repower solution made by Northwest Short Line - though requires pretty major surgery to perform - this should provide Isolation of motor from frame and also allow easier DCC conversion.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Easiest way to check your loco is pull boiler off and start running over loco with multi meter to see where the power is going. First try a continuity check with loco frame and motor frame (using ohm setting and with out power applied to loco) &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If I get a chance I&#039;ll pull my boiler off this weekend and look into mine.
