There are pros and cons for both DC and DCC. It comes down to personal preference, but in saying that, it doesn’t hurt to find out the various advantages and disadvantages of each system. That is exactly what I have tried to clearly explain for readers (like Samuel) in my Model Train Help Ebook. They can then make a reasoned decision based on what is best for them – not on what is best for someone else.

However maybe one day. But not for the moment. I have DCC loco’s and the good ones have enough bells and whistles for me in DC and I am happy with this. I like DC because that is what I know and have built for years. If you think you are going to get into DCC DO IT NOW!!!! dont wait, the transformation could be expensive. Spend the extra money up front. I have seen some DCC layouts and they have it all. But I am still happy with my DC layout, so I guess Robert is right, its up to you and your desires, read his book. Sorry if this is of little help, but everyone is different. I spend my money on what I really like and the look is the same no matter what.
