The coupler height is wrong, too high from track.&lt;br /&gt;  also the trip wire under the coupler that detects the magnet is at the wrong height.&lt;br /&gt; I recommend you purchase the correct tool (coupler height gauge) for you brand of couplers. &lt;br /&gt; your hobby store should have it for a modest price. &lt;br /&gt; this will greatly improve operation &amp; make your enjoyment of operations soar.]]></description>

Sometimes I use my uncoupling stick to shake the car on the magnet if I can reach it. On my DCC layout you can very quickly reverse the direction of the loco,and the uncoupling will work......Herb Sr]]></description>
