Hi Jim, Go to bing.com and go to there maps and look at Staten island new york at the NW corner of the island starts at south ave and arlington pl and move west on the map and go to birds eye view and zoom in to see the industrial sidings. Even better yet look up Strausburg Pa. train museum at (route 741 Gap Rd) zoom in and you will see a great picture of a turntable and a yard check out the whole area there is a lot to see with trains, nice place to visit also. If you know any real life areas in the USA tell us and zoom in on them too. Bing.com has the best maps I have found so far. most of all do what you think looks best I have been around all kinds of RR yards over the years and while the tracks are consistant what is in there is typical of almost any where. old ties old rails a wheel here or there spikes laying around etc. have fun.
