I can say this if you run them slow and not full throttle like my son does they will last a long time.
Here is the nice part if you break one just send it back to Bachmann and they will replace it FREE, WITH A RECEIPT for LIFE. Or for a small fee will fix or replace it with a newer model if the one you got is out of production.~AlanC.
