I assume that your engine is AC. Since I use the same tracks for my Lionels, I use Lionel switches and a small Lionel engine. You can purchase a transformer at any Lionel dealer or on line just don’t get one that has a lot of power. I started collecting Marx trains when Lionel priced themselves out of my hobby budget.
