Another source are small donut shaped beads. (In fact beads are a great source of small stuff – vegetables (I have found pumpkin and melon shaped beads), fruit (round beads to represent apples, oranges and even onions (with string through the hole) and recently I discovered so barrel shaped wooden beads!
