					<description><![CDATA[If I understand your question, you are asking if you can purchase a power supply for DC that can be used as well with DCC.  DCC power supplies have a higher amperage than DC power supplies because power is on the tracks all the time.  DC does not require the high amperage that DCC demands.  It is very unlikely that you find a power supply that works for both DC and DCC.  Buy the best DC poer supply for your DC layout, and then choose the best power supply for your DCC layout.]]></description>

You can use this unut as is or you can add many other available power units to it. My cost for this unit was only around the $200 mark.  Later if you like you can expand to use it with your computer. You can use it as it is or add a walk around cab.]]></description>
