I’m using both Bachmann EZ-Track some old Tyco rail with cork roadbed Two sided carpet tape is working out just fine for me. I’ve been able to pull the track off in the few cases I’ve need to re-adjust track location. What I really like is I can put the tape directly in the foam, wood or Woodland Scenics riser and incline system and the tape is holing the track to all of it. I also used the tape to hold the risers and inclines to the foam. Hope this helps.

It holds it very secure and a dream if you need to pull it up for further enhancements.
