If, like me, you do not have the skill to paint your own walls, or if the scale is so small that it is impractical, try going to http://paperbrick.co.uk/ . I came across the site when I received an email from the daughter of the author of the application. (She is keeping it live in memory of her father.) It covers 25 different scales (1:160 to 1:12), innumerable brick sets, bonds and colours. Smaller scales can be generated by halving the default brick/stone sizes. The site is free, but extra facilities can be obtained by a small subscription (which is to cover hosting costs). I have no link with the owners of the site.
