Bachmann has a parts place so contact them. Your other choice would be to find another engine like yours at a show and combine parts to make a good engine. I have already worn out a Bachmann Thomas engine, I have picked up another engine at a show and so I have some parts available. But Bachmann has the part I need so I plan to buy a couple of the parts and I will have a spare engine to run as I take it and run a lot on the layout at train shows. Contact Bachmann as your first choise.

Your best bet for finding parts will be to look for "donor" locomotive either off of eBay, or a train show/swap meet. You can most likely pick one of these up rather inexpensively. This sheet archived on the HO Train Reference page will help you narrow down which parts are which : http://www.hoseeker.net/assemblyexplosionbachmann/bachmann484northerndiagram1990.jpg
