					<description><![CDATA[From how you described it my guess would be the drive wheels are slipping on the gears on the axles. A common problem with both Athearn and later Proto 2000 drives. Really it is an easy fix, but you will need to replace most likly all four of the drive wheel and gear assemblies. Hope this helps!

					<description><![CDATA[I had a similar problem, and it was alignment goof on my part.  I found it by moving the geartrain and saw that the finial worm gear was misaligned.  (use a &quot;glas&quot; to check) and good luck.]]></description>
