I like to mix asphalt with dirt in my scene and liked how it was done this detail shown in the scene.
As for the fuel tank, I think that the retaining wall would not be discordant , should haveer a little more aging tanks , showing a more deserted scene.
By the looks of the tanks , they are in use and the retaining wall should have been presented in a better state .

Yes the retention wall is rough and too small for the tank size. But these are typical of imperfections that the normal visitor wouldn’t notice, because they would be “wowed” by the quality of the overall detail.
