Also check out the book collections your railroad buddies have. I was trying to locate the correct colors of a Crossing shanty and a friend of mine has his basement wall filled with almost every railroad book there is. Well hours later it was well decided the colors that it needed to be. There was so many choices but overall the colors geenerally followed what we picked even through the time of history. from Newman
