					<description><![CDATA[I think the problem of jerky action while descending grades may be due to the gears. I have many locomotives that will do the same jerking while descending grades. I have found that it is because of the back pressure placed on the gears, causing them more friction, especially worm type gears. The gears will start to bind with the excess weight pushing on the gears. This doesn&#039;t happen with the other gear types, only the worm gears. I have no solutions for this problem. The worm gears do require some amount of &quot;Play&quot; to function, and the grade back pressure on the gears reduces the play, and causes binding.]]></description>
