You may want to search for the Bachmann trains website. I was under the impression that the Bachmann locomotives were guaranteed for 'life'. Of course, shipping and handling is not included. Once at the website, find the locomotive and wheel arrangement from the left hand links and go from there. Sometimes, it may be easier to CALL the support number and ask who to talk to. Support people are located in the United States of America and should be fairly easy to understand. I have found that once you get to the right person, Bachmann support is pretty good at their job.
