					<description><![CDATA[Sorry, I hit post too soon.  Solder droppers at least once on every separate piece of rail and connect the droppers to a &quot;bus&quot; wire under the layout.  If possible find the heaviest copper wire you can for the bus. - stripped down house lighting wire is good.as there are 2 wires enclosed in the insulation - one for each rail.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Peco joiners are just fine.  There is a reason that they are a tight i - so that they grip the rail.  I find Atlas joiners, which I can slip on without using pliers create my worst &quot;dry joints&quot; in my rail. causing locos to stall.  I find I need to &quot;crimp&quot; the Atlas joiners.  To avoid dry joints I now solder the joints.  

On curves I always stagger joints, I do not cut the two rails off square - that just wastes rail and puts valuable dollars and cents into others&#039; pockets.  Take your time laying out the curves.]]></description>
