With clips for both systems, use one set for the one supply to operate that loco.
NOW if you have a DIGITRAX power system, you can operate ONE DC loco at the same time as a DCC loco. I can not give you my email address but if the site leader will give you my email address we can “talk” about this

This will allow you to run older dc locos as well as newer dcc engins but not at the same time.

The tracks have to be fully insulated so the systems don’t “meet”. Once you have run DCC you won’t want to go back to DC.

As I obtained DCC equipment I had no problems running DCCtrains, BUT!!!!! make sure the blocks are separated for DCC trains up line and down line blocks are switched to the DC, crossovers covered with insulated connectors. If you then just run DCC locos over the whole system remove all DC locos off the tracks then switch all blocks as for the DCC controller. If you forget as I did and leave a dc loco on the DCC system you get a bit of a high pitched buzz and think WTF and go over 52′ of main line plus numerous sidings to figure it out as I did to find a hiding locomotive. I’m still on a learning curve and so far have no smoke issues ,Regards from Panama, John
