					<description><![CDATA[I&#039;m using Atlas Customline Mark IV #4 turnouts and powering them with Tortise switch machines. The Tortise has an 8-wire connector but you only need #1 and #8 to operate the switch machine the other six are for accessories.]]></description>

This is not for any technical reason but purely to maintain the illusion of reality.]]></description>
