SMD LEDs come in a variety of sizes (the smaller ones are very dificult to solder).

If SMDs are difficult to handle, use ordinary 5mm or 3mm &quot;straw hat&quot; LEDs.   These give a wide beam suitable for area lighting, as opposed the &quot;bullet&quot; LEDs which give a spotlight beam.

LED strip is available in 12V or 5V, and is very useful for building interiors.]]></description>

I use the small 0402 smd leds in cool white wich are available from Wish for a few dollars these come with fine wires attached and are easy to glue to the structure with a drop of super glue and you can solder the resistors to the end of the red wire well out of sight]]></description>
