You may see them held in place by a pin. This usually is pushed okay from the coupling and slide it out. Just look a I am sure you will find it easy. Good luck.

Go to Kadee’s web site click on “Coupler Conversions” and go to the Model Power list. There you will find the necessary Kadee couplers to convert your loco to Kadee.If your loco is not listed then it is simply a #5 or #148
