Since you are expanding your layout, you need to consider the power output and wiring.  With longer runs, you need thicker wires for the main bus.  You don&#039;t necessarily need more power from your system unless you are going to be running more locomotives at the same time.  Just having a bigger layout doesn&#039;t mean more locomotives running at once.  There&#039;s a limit to how much multi-tasking anyone can do!  But if you do intend to have more running, then you may need to increase the power.]]></description>
