George has an HO layout and writes:

“I’ve made the decision to significantly downsize both my layout and collection of trains and accessories. At 84 I still enjoy my trains, but I don’t want to burden my kids with the hassle of dismantling and disposing of my hobby when I die. I don’t think it is fair to them. Would I better off auctioning everything as a job lot, selling items individually on eBay, or in bundles of say a loco and some cars together? I’m not concerned about how much money I get back, but rather the easiest and fastest way to dispose of everything. Sounds harsh, but in my head, I’ve made the decision to move on and keep a small track with a couple of engines and a few cars. Can someone guide me please?”
