In other words, I don’t recommend you even try to convert them; you’ll likely ruin the turnout doing so and have to replace it anyway.

That being said, unless you are using locomotives with a short wheelbase or older single-truck pickups, insulfrog turnouts generally work fine with DCC. I do admit, however, non-insulfrog turnouts do look better.
