N gauge Track Geometry
Terry has a question for readers on N gauge track geometry:
“I am finding it very difficult to get hold of the track geometry for N gauge in peco. As I am just starting, I am unable to plan anything, Until I know the diameters of of the different track circles etc. Is anybody able to help thank you?”

As far as I know, PECO doesn’t manufactur any ‘preset’ curved track sections with any specific radii. They do have flex track so, in some regards, you will have more latitude in how you plan your layout which will almost be like the way real railroads do.
PECO switches or turnouts, though well made, are pretty vague as well in respect to the degree of divergence from the main line. They are generally listed as sharp, medium or broad. Go to this web page for more detailed info about their switches:

I’m not sure why you are set on using PECO track but if you aren’t, ATLAS TRACK CO. provides several different radius curved sections in N scale that you could use to plan your layout. Their prices are reasonable and they make a nice product. Here is their web page:
