Baseboard Materials

Paul is new to the hobby and asks a question:

“Hi, I’m doing my frist 00 layout and I am a bit confused what to use as the baseboard. The layout will be in my spare room so it won’t be going anywhere so I would like your readers views on this problem. Many thanks.”

One Response to Baseboard Materials

    Hi Paul,
You are so lucky to have your own room 1st problem out of the way.
Use 12mm plywood or mdf board and use 50 x 25 radiata pine as your legs and bracing.
Then if you want put a border around it with 100 x 25 pine to stop everything falling off when you start running.
    Happy running,
    Cheers, Mark.
