GP5 Loco and Tender by Graham Fisher

Marks asks readers:

“I have what I think is a GP5 loco and tender by Graham Fisher. I am in serious need of a lot of parts. The motor is in good order and all parts move. There is no body on either the loco or tender. Does anyone know where I can access detailed pics?”

One Response to GP5 Loco and Tender by Graham Fisher

  • David Broad says:

Is it Graham Farish? OO scale, runs on HO gauge 16.5mm track?
I have a broken Farish GP5 Loco body and a damaged tender somewhere in my scrap box, it ran as a push along Henry the Green Engine during my son’s Thomas the Tank engine phase.
It is like a Stanier Black 5 but longer, drive is to the centre driving wheels which have traction tyres through a crown wheel and pinion and spur gears from a tender mounted motor .
Pick up is through the tender side frames and split axle tender wheels.
If that is the one I can dig my bits out and take pics.
