Is anyone aware of a calculator or information on the effect of curves on gradients. As an example, if I had a 700mm radius on a 2% gradient what would be the resultant or effective gradient. If I was to super elevate the track would that help to reduce the compounding effect of the % of gradient caused by the curve?
