I have four Backmann steam engines (4x8x4) with serious problems. The drive wheels are connected with nylon spacers that have disintegrated. Not normally a problem that should be easy to fix except I cannot find a source for Backmann parts. My Hobby stores tells me they want the entire engine returned to them for repair. #%*@??$%. Firms who do not make part available are on my list.
