“Im trying to restore my train set I had as a boy. It used a 501 pulse throttlepack. Are these still available as secondhand packs, as mine has been mislaid over the years.”

I’m guessing you are referring to the MRC 501 throttle. I have one for my N scale set and I have seen the same units on the online auction site.
