"I want to convert some of Bachmann's Thomas-The-Tank-Engine locomotives to DCC. Has anyone done it, and are there any tips, wiring specifics, space limitations, etc. that someone could share?"

Here is a U Tube video that should help you with those engines they should not be any different than any other so long as you follow the instructions on the decoder and have the space to install it.
