00 Scale Single Track D.C.C. Operation

John asks readers for advice:

“I am building a Scottish layout in OO scale and it will be single track. Can I operate more than one engine at the same time using just one D.C.C. controller?”

With DCC you will be able to run multiple units in opposite directions at different speeds. I have just started to run with DCC and I’m still working out what these units will do.

you can run up to 4or5 locos in the same direction or the oppisit directionall though i cant see why you would want to on a singie track i would think if you are running 2 locos { unless they are class 20 when they run nose to nose } there would be a dissarter if you ran in oppisit directons all the best kenny
