the zephyr does not control the turnout directly it only sends the signal to a decoder and tell it to switch it. just like the decoder in your loco it tell it what to do you need a decoder for the turnout that you address a number to so your looking from 1 to 999 if your not sure look it up at digitraxx .com under decoders. you can download the book and manual free

You need to buy a Digitrax DS64 to control the turnouts.
