Operating Digitrax DCC System
Lloyd asks readers:
“I have an HO layout that I have not touched in 5 yrs. I have Digitrax as my system. Can anyone tell me how to operate the system to get it up and running? I had it running before my surgery but totally forgot how to get it started. For some reason, I can’t find the books for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.”

Lloyd since you don’t say what system you actually have it is difficult to answer your question. What I recommend is that you go to the Digitrax website. All their manuals are available there, even the older ones that are no longer in production. They also have a FAQ section that can provide you with answers to almost any issue that arises.
hi Lloyd, not knowing what surgery you recently went thru but you’ve made the first step via the internet. the information is formidable. Just ask a seemingly silly ?? and you’ll get all the assistance you need.Regards John
Remembering what address you set your locos to can be a challenge too. To get your system running again, certainly download the appropriate digitrax manual from their website and then get one of your best running dcc locos and reprogrammed it to address 3. You can then run this one over all your layout and test the track continuity etc
