Kadee Couplers for PRR EMD E7 Diesel Engine 5772

“I am hoping that someone either knows how to change from the old horn/hook couplers to Kadees on a Model Power HO Scale Pennsylvania PRR EMD E7 Diesel Engine # 5772.”

Go to Kadee’s web site click on “Coupler Conversions” and go to the Model Power list. There you will find the necessary Kadee couplers to convert your loco to Kadee.If your loco is not listed then it is simply a #5 or #148
I thank all for the help — yet my main concern is how to get the old Horn-Hooks out ( or in other words – how to take them apart to do a replacement )!!!

Look at them carefully. You may see them held in place by a pin. This usually is pushed okay from the coupling and slide it out. Just look a I am sure you will find it easy. Good luck.
