Hi Ed,

Take a look at SCARM (Simple Computer Aided Railway Modeller) I have been been using it for a few months now and find it very good. It’s multi-lingual, automatically creates lists of the track parts you need and gives a basic 3D view of your designed layout. It also supports a “boatload” of different track types.

Hi…XTrackCad is a great tool. But a much easier one is SCARM.info. Try it…you’ll like it.

P.S. SCARM railroad software is FREE as well!

You may want to try Cadrail.. It’s easier to use and save. I also use it to print out my switch yard for control panels. Bill
