Richard asks:

Is it possible to wire 2 Kato switches to so that when I throw the controller lever they both switch? I have the switches on opposite sides of my layout with a half circle connecting them to my main line.

  • Anselmo Agostinho says:

yes, definitively yes. Each switch has three wires, conect two corresponding wires (right, center or common, left to each contact on the controller and ‘presto’, it is done. Take care to use recomended wire gauge as per your switch manufacturer instructions.

  • Frank B says:

Yes, as Anselmo says, wire the two turnout motors in parallel, so that they operate simultaneously..

  • James H Taylor says:

Kato switches are two wire. The turnout controller can handle 2 turnouts at once. The double crossover can be thrown with one controller.
