Hook Up Multiple Accessories
Bill model O/O27 and wants advice from readers on hooking up multiple accessories and asks:
“Is there a piece of equipment that would allow me to easily hook up multiple accessories to a transformer? I have trouble getting so many wires from a power source to the accessories. I am looking for something like a distribution box?”

Hi Bill, If you want 1 suppy to multiple accessories I guess you know you could wire nut them all together. But I guess you want something that you would be able to remove or add 1 at a time. There are banks of wire blocks that you can purchase that you have 1 supply and you can tie in 1 or 10 or more accessories and it looks real neat. I think there is a picture of one in an earlier blog on this site. but if you ever opened up a circuit breaker panel in your house they look like the neutral block that all the neutral wires are hooked up to. you can purchase these at your local home depot or electrical store or look on line at some of the hobby stores on line. so if you have a lot of accesories on one side of the lay out you can run one supply line to one block and all your accessories to the block that is near by. so you are making your own distribution box and saving a lot of extra wire.
