New Zealand has 3 great Train Journey’s. 1 – The Tranz Alpine with travels from Christchurch to Greymouth and return is simply stunning (especially in winter). 2 – A steam excursion for 16 days behind approx 3-4 steam Locomotives and travels across most of the country. 3 – another 19 day steam trip across the country behind x1 Steam loco (different preservation society).
