1940’s Trains

Nancy has a question about a train from the 1940’s and asks:

“I am brand new to this hobby and have just started a layout. However, my question concerns how to find out what train was running a certain route at a certain time. I would like to know what train ran between Hope, Arkansas and Houston, Texas right after WWII.”

One Response to 1940’s Trains

    Hi Nancy,
I have researched similar RRs. Go on line and type in what you want, if that dont work write to the chamber of commerce for those locations, they are usually more than happy to send you too much information and pictures free or sometimes you have to pay a small fee. They love to share their history with everyone.
