Street Lighting On Model RR Layout
Sil has a question for anyone who has added street or building lights to their layout. To help Sil you first need to register (it takes 2 minutes and you only need to do it once) and then you can take part in future discussions on this Model Train Blog.
“Hello Fellow Model Railroaders. My question is: What kind of lights to use to light up buildings and streets. Im afraid of the commercial ones that look like they would burn out right away. What do you guys use?”

What scale is your railroad? I know of some high quality light fixtures made of brass. The bulbs in the lamps are rated at 10k hours at 12v. They specialize in G-Scale, but have a couple that would work for O-Scale. http://locomotivejoe.ecrater.com/
