HO Peco Track Rail Joiners

Adrian from New Zealand asks readers for help:

“I have just started my layout and am using Peco track sl 100 streamline. I also received code75 sl110 rail joiners, but I can not get them on the track (too tight). Can someone help me please?”

    Adrin try Atlas railjoiners if you can get them. Also try using a fine screwdriver and opening the ends of the joiners. I use Peco track and switches also. Check ou tmy videos on u-tube.

    I had the same problem. Don’t remember where I saw this tip but it has saved my a lot of time and grief installing joiners.
    Take about 3 inches of track, drill a hole in a wooden dowel and insert the piece of track. Tap it in with a hammer. Then push the joiners onto it, one at a time to open them up. Works like a charm.
